Trouble getting FPGA to PC data streaming working after upgrade

cRIO software

Use MAX to uninstall old software.

Install NI-RIO 12.0 Aug 12 software set for LV RT-12

Required Options for Omicron FPGA interface2

• Network streams 1.2 in Network I/O
• Network variable engine 12.0.0 9 (also adds Variable Client Support)

Additional Options

• Scan Engine to be able to use Scan Mode FPGA. This is low performance and not that interesting
• NI-serial RT to support RS 232 from cRIO, not used yet

Problems

Network streams will not work. Errors on both ends.

Screw around with streams, starts to work with longer timeout on PC end, 500 ms.

To run

first start RT stystem on cRIo

next run PC_GUI with initital/exit states set to restart RT/FPGA

streams should connect. Change low-pass value to reset
